ugh, the dye job turned out badly. The purple just wouldn't take well so the colour was a bit washed out and looked a bit grey. No problemo though, I just re-dyed the whole lot a richer watermelon colour. I have two uses for this wool. Firstly I could use it as part of my soaker idea, I realised that the white flecks are the only part that is silk after all so it would be okay. The actual 'yarn' part is pure wool. The flecks add texture to it. Its quite beautiful. The other idea is to use it as the base yarn for my next hedgehog, because the colour matches the fun fur yarn I am using, but I think that would be a bit of a waste. I can use any old wool for that..
