I have been busy knitting little bitty things. I am addicted to knitting booties, I have made five pairs and the sixth is currently on the needles.

I am also knitting a cable cardigan for myself and a little bitty pair of denim cotton dungarees. I finished the blue cardigan at knitting group last week, its a Debbie Bliss design.

Photos are of the famous Iggle Piggle cake and the other one I made for the family barbecue that we had on Sunday.

Steve put in a skylight today, I have been asking for it since we moved in here. It was a bit disappointing. It doesn't even make the room very much lighter. Hmph.

We need to fix the pergola and I need to finish painting the kitchen. We also need to paint and re-carpet our bedroom. I hope the nesting instinct kicks in because there are so many unfinished projects around here.

I just heard Steve say "geez I hope that roof doesn't leak", and he was looking up at the skylight. Oh my gawd, LOL, oh my farkin gawd, ya gotta laugh or you'll cry round here I tell ya, LOL.
