Here is an update on my knitting projects now that I have made some decisions. I have one little jumper for Callum on the go at the moment that I will probably finish tonight or tomorrow so it doesn't count.

One purple cardigan "Ivy" - knitted top down, sleeves to finish and button band to add - I haven't unpicked the whole thing but I have stolen a large chunk of this yarn and will unpick the rest when I can be bothered, but at least it has been categorised as "Abandoned" so technically is not "unfinished" anymore. CASE CLOSED



One teal blue cable cardigan - back and sleeves done, front to do - Still working on this. Have started the fronts using cable from B side cardigan. Realised I have stuffed up the sleeve so have to re-knit them. PENDING


One purple and green infant jumper - front and back done, sleeves to do. - This is never going to get finished. I have lost the iron-on transfer for the front and Callum is too big for it. When I was pregnant and knitting this I estimated that it would fit the baby at six months which would be right in the middle of winter. Wrong. This has been categorised as "Abandoned" CASE CLOSED.


One angora cream kimono - sleeves to do. - Finished. CASE CLOSED


One grey train jumper - finish back/front (knitted in one piece) and knit sleeves. - PENDING


One Iggle Piggle jumper - unpick and re-use yarn (bit of a fizzer and I don't like it anymore). - Officially Abandoned. CASE CLOSED


One dark blue flecked cowl neck jumper - knit the cowl neck, that's all it needs. - I am going to unpick and re-use this yarn for a Wonderful Wallaby jumper for Baden. Officially Abandoned. CASE CLOSED


One pair of Embossed Leaves socks - about eight rows of lace pattern and then toe on one sock left to do but I have lost my place on the lace chart. - Found my place in the chart thanks to Donna. Finished. CASE CLOSED






One pink flecked February Baby jacket - about three inches of lace pattern to go. - Unpicked and rewound. CASE CLOSED


One watermelon baby cardigan - button band to go, that's it. - PENDING


Boheme baby jumper - buttons, that's it. - PENDING but the baby it is intended for is due next week so I will be categorising this shortly.



One cotton pinwheel baby blanket - will probably be abandoned, too big a job, can't be bothered. - Officially Abandoned. CASE CLOSED


One purple baby jumper with fluffy dog face - needs shoulder button band. - In no hurry for this. It's crap. It was originally for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday and she is about to turn 4 and my knitting has improved a lot since then! Its a bit girly for Callum but I might put it on him anyway, the girls of the world don't own purple. PENDING



One 'Arwen' cardigan - have knitted the back and alot of the front - will abandon this and re-use yarn. Its too fiddly and I have forgotten how to do the cable now. - Officially Abandoned. Will re-use yarn for Mr Darcy cardigan. CASE CLOSED
