Things seem to be going really well for us lately. I looooove my new job, its really interesting and the people are nice. There are quite a few other part timers in various roles so I am not the only one, which is great. Bubby has settled into family daycare really well. He always looks contented when I pick him up and has various examples of artwork to show me. They go to playgroup and the other day they went to McDonalds and yesterday he had sand in his shoes so he was obviously having fun somewhere!

The commute is awful, it takes so long in the mornings and the traffic just won't move. I leave so early and only just make it to work on time, and then at night I keep trying different ways of trying to avoid the congestion, with varying results. Tonight's effort was quite successful so I will try that one again. Its not enough to put me off the job but it does mean I look forward to my days off, so I don't have to sit in the car for hours on end.

I bought some new trousers the other day and I hemmed them myself, very rushed job early this morning. I put them on and realised I had stuffed it up. I didn't have time to find anything else or to fix them so I felt a bit like Pee Wee Herman today, with my trouser legs up around my ankles! What an idiot, lol.
