I got my shoes today. We caught the train into the city, just for a change, and had lunch and had a look around and I went to the bridal shop where I saw the shoes I wanted and I bought them. I am very excited. Its been a long time since I was excited about shoes, at least ten years. I used to love shoes, but now I only wear them to stop my feet getting cut, lol. Fashion doesn't interest me anymore.

I have lost five kilos and I am feeling quite contented with my weight. I would love to be skinnier but I have almost met my "realistic goal" that I set for myself when we set the wedding date, so you can't ask for more than that. I have one and a half kilos to go and four weeks to get there.

In other news, Baden is getting cuter by the day but we are definitely in toddler mode now. He can be so naughty sometimes but he's so cute that it's impossible to get mad. He says "thank you" ("tant-tooo") all the time, he never forgets, its very very cute. The other day I was mucking around just yakking away to him, he was in the bedroom playing and I was in the laundry next to it cleaning up a mess that he had made and complaining that I was constantly cleaning up his mess, all day every day, and I added "and I was in labour with you for eight hours and you haven't even bothered to say thank you"

and then I heard a little voice from the other room trill "tant tooo".

oh my goodness, so cute! I ran into the bedroom and picked him up for a big sloppy kiss and just laughed and laughed.
