I ran out of bluddy yarn, halfway up the bluddy hood.
So I have ordered some more, thankfully I can get the same dyelot. It will be here in a couple of days.
Meanwhile I am forcing myself not to start anything new, so I am finishing off a couple of projects that have been sitting around for a while. A jumper for Baden that just needs a collar, actually there are two of those, and a small baby jacket that I have been meaning to finish for ages.
I did order some more wool while I was ordering the extra ball of wineberry because I didn't want it to be lonely in the post. I am going to make myself another jumper, its called Cardigan for Arwen. Its got some fancy cables that might be a bit beyond me but I'll give it a whirl. About time I learnt something new anyway.
I went to TAFE today, lucky I did because we had a two hour exam!! It was Open Book, I forgot my book, lol, but I had a quick squiz at the questions and knew I would be allright.
In my other class we are designing a website, I have chosen to do a knitting shop. It means I can sit in class and "research" ha ha. Its fun.
I got offered a job in the weekend. My teacher from Community College ages ago rang me and asked if I would be interested in doing some coding for a company. When I did the course I told him to keep me in mind if anything ever came up. He said he would because I was his star pupil! (how nice). So it all sounded very promising, until he mentioned the type of website it was!! eeek. Its a 'adult' site. I had a quick look, its just not something I would feel comfortable doing I don't think. Steve said I should do it just for the money and I was trying to be open minded about it, but in the end I just think it would put me in a constant bad mood.
It's a shame, it would be good money and only a few hours a week, from home. sigh. And there is a lot of potential from a design perspective (it wasn't good). But nah. Oh well. Its just not something worth selling my soul for. I did take a couple of days to make my decision though!!
