One year ago Steve and I were in Fiji getting married.

Time flies.

He brought flowers home, I made him a cake and I am cooking a lamb roast.

Both of us thought the other had forgotten. Looks like we both passed the test, lol.
I really need to go and do some cake decorating classes, my cakes are fugly.
The last year has been very happy and uneventful, which I think is a good thing. Quiet contentment out here in our house in the 'burbs. The year ahead is looking bright.
The weather here is awful. Just right to stay in and knit after a yummy lamb roast. Might even rustle up some lemon meringue pie for dessert ("rustle" translates into "go to freezer and open packet").
My afternoon class at TAFE is cancelled tomorrow. I was supposed to hand in an assignment and I haven't done it. What a tin arse I am!
My yarn hasn't arrived yet and the 'no starting' diet lasted a few hours before I cast on for a cardigan called "Mr Greenjeans" with some cleckheaton that I got for $1 a ball at a recent sale at Spotlight.
