*crickets*

Nothing to report.

I remembered that I have forgotten to get Baden's Santa photo taken. whoops.

I was putting it off till the last minute because I thought I would have two babies in the photo, but its nearly christmas so I suppose I should schlep out to the shops to get it done. Except I don't feel particulary festive at the moment in regard to shopping, I always hibernate when it gets too close to christmas, and going into labour at the shopping centre doesn't exactly float my boat.

The thing I hate most about christmas is...parking. I have parking anxiety at the best of times, I hate looking for a park, I just loathe it. My heart starts pounding and I get very anxious about it, I don't know when it started, a few years ago. I don't know why because I am actually quite good at finding a car park, but yeah, I just get really anxious about finding a park as I get closer to the shopping centre. It's rather bizarre. Sometimes when Steve is driving around looking for a park I make him stop and I get out and meet him inside because I just can't stand it. So I usually go shopping during quiet times during the week. Which counts out any day leading up to christmas.

In other news, I have been knitting. I need to take photos. I am currently making a pair of longies, little knitted pants that go over a cloth nappy. With Baden I went through a brief phase of using modern cloth nappies, which was heaps of fun, so I will do the same with this bubba. Just while its fun, the modern cloth nappies are absolutely adorable, not like the old fashioned terry squares, they are heaps more absorbent and come in really cute little patterns. I have made a couple of soakers too, they do the same job but are short little pants.

Baden is going through a particularly hilarious phase at the moment, of calling us by our first names. He calls me Shed, unless I ignore him and then he says "Sheridan!". Today they went out for a while and when they got back he calls out "Sheridan, where are ya?" as they walked in the door. And he calls Steve "Steve" unless he doesn't answer and then its "Steven!".

It makes us laugh. He's so funny with the things he comes out with, you just never know what is next. Three year old's are just so much fun to live with, most of the time.
