Callum, the sumo in the bumbo. Baden was a skinny little baby and this one is a fatty. Baden actually still fits in the bumbo now, lol.
In knitting news I am on a Finishing kick. I am currently finishing a Train Wallaby, finishing an angora kimono, finishing my teal blue cable cardigan (no pic) - although something has gone wonky with the sleeve so I lost interest a bit. And I finally finally finally finished my Embossed leaves socks.
I am also on a Yarn Diet, which means I can't buy any more yarn for a while. Very very sad. I need to use up a bit of what I have. I am pleased that the two jumpers I recently knit for Baden were from stash.
I got some new sock yarn from Needlefood. Its lovely. Yes yes, I know what I just wrote about the yarn diet, shaddup, its because I am in the sock club which I joined before the Yarn Diet started. Every month a package arrives with some lovely sock yarn and other little goodies. Its like having a birthday. I particularly liked this month's one called Mango Smoothie. I am not a huge fan of variegated, I prefer semi solids, but I do like this one.
Unfortunately Steve took a day off last week and of all the blimmen days for it to arrive it had to be that day didn't it? I told him I won it in a competition. I will confess now that I LIE to my husband about yarn ALL the time. I tell him the expensive stuff is six dollars a ball. He baulks at that. Imagine if he knew it was more like TWENTY, ha ha ha ha. Oh well, that's all I ever lie to him about, so if that is as bad as it gets I don't think the world will come to an end, ha ha. Besides which, I am SURE I am not the only knitter that does it.
And here is a pic of bubby's tooth. I took it because I realised that I hadn't taken one already and I want to show him when he's older what a little freak he is.
