40 today. Wow.

A whole new decade. Exciting times. I remember turning 30 and feeling that way too. I can't believe its gone so fast. I have done quite a lot in the last ten years. I moved from Brisbane to Sydney, backpacked all round Europe and the UK, changed jobs a million times, did some study, met my lovely husband, got married, had a baby and now have another one on the way, bought a house.

I am pretty happy with my lot.

I went out for dinner last night for a friend's 30th birthday. We stayed out past midnight and I feel quite seedy today. I used to feel this way after drinking all night and staying out till dawn, but anything past midnight these days gets me feeling hungover. All I had was a pineapple juice, nasty stuff!! lol.

Here are the pics of what my husband bought me: a little statue that is me and Baden and our new bubby. I absolutely love it. I wish I could say he found it and bought it for me as a surprise, ha ha ha, as if. I saw it and loved it and dropped hints about it which he totally didn't get and then when he mentioned that he didn't know what to get me for my birthday I rolled my eyes and then told him to go and buy it for me. d'uh. He's no worse than any other bloke I think they are all a bit clueless, lol, bless him.

And he bought me flowers. They are beautiful. He always gets me beautiful flowers. I love getting flowers on special occasions. And he got me a nice card. So I am very happy.
