I have started knitting for my little bloke. These are the first things I have made. In BLUE, lol. I am not going to stick with blue for long, I love bright colours, reds and teals and chocolate and yellow. I have heaps of ideas.

Poor old Baden missed out on knitted stuff till I knit him the first jumper when he was about four months old. oh, actually - I made him a hat he wore in hospital when he was first born. It was an awful thing, knit on two straight needles with a big seam down the back, knitted in *gulp* ACRYLIC!!! I was so proud of myself and my beautiful baby in his handknitted hat instead of the hospital-issued thing they put on their heads, which was basically a singlet type thing on their heads, bizarre.

How times have changed, ha ha, gawd how times have changed. I don't even think there is any acrylic in the house these days. I have some cotton I just bought, in cream and denim blue and brown, I am going to make a few things in cotton because I am having a summer baby. I am quite excited by that prospect!

And there will be no seams on any hats, ha ha.

I am onto my next thing, a little shawl collared cardigan. Its cute. Really soft. Hopefully there will be a pic in a few days, they are so quick these little bitty things!

Knitting group started back today. I have missed it and Baden has missed his beloved Judy, the creche lady. He asks to go there every day, every single day he says "Judy today?".

Tuesdays are our favourite day!
