Happy to report we are back into it. He went for four days with very limited options. I tried everything I could think of, I wormed him because someone said it could be worms, I tried teething balm on his gums, I gave him ice cubes to suck on before a feed, I tried lots of different feeding positions, I tried the dream feed, I tried favourite places, I took him to the osteopath. We finally solved the problem, whatever it was. One of my knitting group ladies said the unlovely comment of me having to get used to the fact that he doesn't want me anymore. Which, apart from being a bit mean, is very easy to dismiss when you see your distressed little baby frantically doing the hand signal for milk but then throwing himself away and biting. Buuuut, thankfully I have learned to ignore a lot of comments in my breastfeeding career, lol, so that will get filed under R for Rubbish. Ho hum!

Upside of all that is that he now can drink from a bottle, in case he ever needs to, that is fabulous. Although now I have realised that he can go without for ages because other people's children who are bottlefed are off formula at 12 months and just eat and drink like normal people. I never really thought about that before, I think I knew it but never really thought about what that meant in regard to my own boob monsters after 12 months.

So anyway, it's all good and back to the way we like it and we don't have to think about what the normal folk are doing anymore, ha ha ha ha ha!!

I have been sewing a bit. Tried out a tote bag pattern to put all my uni stuff in. It needs to be all in one place, away from sticky little fingers. I haven't done much else, it has been a slow week. Uni is fine, I should pass the course. I will have to find time to study, but if I can manage to do that then I will pass, its supposed to be an easy course and so far it seems straightforward. Steve has started his night work, which seems to be going allright.

Baden has started requesting running races every day. All it means is running up and down in the back yard. I have lost a bit of weight because he is four years old and four year old's have mastered the art of Pester Power like no other age group on earth. He nags and nags and nags, a gym buddy has nothing on this guy. Far out. So I always end up going out there and running up and down for a while, just for a bit of peace.
