We are in the midst of a very serious nursing strike here. I am not sure how this is going to pan out. Obviously it could go either way. Our breastfeeding journey might be over, or maybe this is just a bump in the middle of a long and happy road.

I am not going to abandon ship just yet, but it's not looking very promising.

I am a bit sad. Actually, that is what is known as a 'humungous understatement'.  I am devo'd.

But I will be fine. *sigh*. I know a lot of people want to breastfeed their kids but aren't able to. Some are fine with it, some are a bit sad and I know some who are completely devastated and never really got over it. So we are better off than many others, at least we got to this point.

But still. I wasn't finished. Not by a long shot.
