Yesterday was my birthday, I am 42, which according to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is the answer to everything in the universe. I learnt that when I was in the army and we had a test and one of the questions was how many dimples on a golf ball and I can't remember the actual answer but they said if you had put "42" you would have also been right!

I had a nice enough day. We went to sewing group, I forgot my stabilising paper so couldn't do any applique, grrr, I always forget something. Then the kids and I went to the shops and I bought one of those granny shopping trolleys. I have always wanted one, just waiting till I got old enough, ha ha ha, and yesterday was the day especially since they were on sale! I will use it for sewing group because it so hard dragging my kids and sewing machine and sewing stuff inside.

We went out for dinner, it was nice, it was a buffet so I had a lot of seafood. I got a Spotlight voucher for my birthday which is always nice but I think this is number six so I think I will take it off the list of suggestions, lol.
