Okay, so this TAFE thing isn't really starting off all that promising. I went to class today and the teacher asked who can use photoshop, so I put up my hand. He asked how good I was at it and I said something like "average", and he asked if I knew how to make a colour photo into a black and white photo.

Um....

Yes. Doesn't everybody?

No?

Then he said I could go home because I wouldn't learn anything today.

Then he said to swing by on Monday and get his lesson plans and just turn up whenever I wanted to. He said to take in some examples of my work as well so he could see.

Oh dear.

I kind of thought everyone knows how to use Photoshop these days? no? I thought Generation Y had left us all behind. Apparently not.

And we are learning HTML next. Well guess what...yep, I already know quite a bit of that as well. Oh no.

So now there is the Monday morning class that is as boring as batshit, the Monday afternoon class is probably going to be okay. I dunno about the Wednesday class because that doesn't start till next week and now I don't have to go on Friday mornings either.

Its turning out to be a bit of a bludge. I am not sure what I am going to do about it. I really want to learn. I don't want to bludge. I wanted to fill the gaps in my knowledge, not start from scratch.

Oh, and something funny I noticed. I wrote my maiden name down on the list the other day. I didn't even realise. I still have to think before I write. I wonder how long it takes to come naturally.
