I just went for a run. I am not sure why, I just felt like it. I actually quite enjoyed it. The arthritis in my feet is mild at the moment, my hands are awful but my feet are okay, so I felt so good that I needed to run just coz I can! I am really unfit so I had to stop a few times, but I put my iPod on and ran till my lungs were screaming and then I would stop for a while and then off I went again.

I bought a mini skirt at Vinnies and it doesn't fit. But I want it to fit. I will never wear out of the house but I want to wear it this summer around the house. It cost two bucks and it's adorable and I am going to get into it if it kills me. I will totally look like mutton dressed as lamb, a 41 year old woman in a white frilly mini skirt, but I don't care, I...will...get...into...that...skirt.

Right, enough of the pipe dreams and onto the sewing: I have made Mrs Perkins, she needs buttons on her legs and for her legs to be sewn to her body, which means a trip to Spotlight, but I can't actually be bothered at the moment so she will have to wait. I might make another one in the meantime and there is also a little elephant called Phoebe who I might make, or maybe I will just make up my own animal.

We went garage sale-ing (new word!) this morning, I bought a chest of drawers for five bucks. Five bucks! lol, gawd. I am going to sort out my storage, for wool and fabrics, its all over the place at the moment and its quite messy. I loathe mess. I can't think straight when there is mess. Its hard with two kids to avoid mess but I do my best!

And I bought some magazines, patchwork etc, for 20 cents each. I love looking at craft magazines. I can't do any of the stuff in it but maybe one day I will learn and then I can go back and look through all the old magazines and realise that I can actually make some of the stuff in them. I already do this with knitting books and its a lot of fun.
