I am totally loving myself sick over these pyjamas. I made a shirt, a collared shirt, can you believe it? I can't believe it!

I need snaps for these, I am going to take it to my friend who has a snap press, because I practised a few buttonholes on this material and they don't look nice, they go all gapey and horrible.

I had a terrible time trying to follow the instructions. I youtubed it and studied it and then decided to just follow them step by step, I know, how radical. And once I got the concept in my head of how the collar all came together then it was easy from there. It was just understanding how it all worked in regard to hiding the inner seam that was a bit tricky.

I made him some other pyjama shorts as well.

I am not sure I will do the shirt again, its a bit fiddly really. Cute though, and of course he loves it because it is soft and snuggly and comfortable. It is knit material, a beeyotch of a thing to sew but you don't have to zigzag the seams, which is nice. I might try another one in plain cotton, I will see. Its nice to know I can do it though, I feel like its a bit of a milestone.

And in other news, my unromantic husband who I was just whingeing about at Christmas time got me a Valentines card with a $50 Spotlight voucher in it!! I think I might have squealed, what a cool present! So all is forgiven from Christmas, ha ha.
