I forgot to upload this little dude on here. He has been through the wash once and he survived it but not perfectly. I am still perfecting the art of applique. I was talking about it to one of Baden's preschool teachers and she informed me that yes, there is a special applique foot for the sewing machine. So I am gonna track me down one of them, yes I am.

There is a special stitch called blanket stitch as well but I don't think my sewing machine has that stitch. Bummer. There are two rows of stitches on my sewing machine but I only know how to access the first row. I have no idea how I am supposed to get the thingy over to the second line of stitches, because they are next to the first line, so when I turn the turny thingy down it only goes on the first column. There must be something (some thingy) I have to press to get it over to the other column. Control + shift or something, lol, no, there isn't one, but some little trick like that.

If I get desperate enough I will probably have to read the instructions, but not quite that desperate yet, lol.

It's another hot day today, but its more humid than anything. I started off well, did loads of housework, vacuumed, did the dishes, even washed the dog, but now I have come to a screaming halt. The kids are outside playing with the hose, in their undies. Very sensible. A bit of sunscreen and a couple of hats and they can stay out there all day.
