I just put my entry form in for the Sydney Royal Easter Show, so its now confirmed that I am a granny, lol.
I have entered two categories, baby's jacket and child's pullover. I have a couple of ideas in my head for each garment and I already have the wool, so its all good.
I also went and enrolled in TAFE today, to get a qualification in Web Design. I start in a couple of weeks. Its a fulltime course, it is four days a week, well, one full day Monday, nothing Tuesday, half day Wednesday, half day Thursday and half day Friday, so it couldn't be more annoying in regard to daycare, grrr, since we have to pay a full day no matter how long he goes. The told me it was two full days and one half day at first, which would have been great. They did say it might change again though, here's hoping.
I am very grateful to have a supportive husband. Both financially of course but also emotionally. He knows I really enjoyed the web design that I did at the last job, and he knows I study hard - I did a TAFE course when we first met and I got mostly distinctions (nerrrrd). So he is happy for me to do this. It makes a big difference having that support there, especially since I feel a bit guilty that Baden will have to go to daycare more than the two days a week he currently goes. And I feel a bit guilty that Steve already pays all the bills and the mortgage without me adding TAFE fees and more daycare fees to it. But if it all goes to plan it will work out much better for us in the long run. I will be able to work from home and that will be fantastic for us.
And in other news around here, Apple is on heat, so the little stud dog - the gorgeous Greggy, will be coming here for a romantic interlude next week. I have recovered, emotionally, from the last time, and I feel a lot more prepared this time. And I won't be asking anyone who I don't trust for help this time, this time we are going about this project the way I like to do things, all i's dotted, all t's crossed and no useless people who could have been helpful but instead did the wrong thing by us, will steer me off course. I have learnt alot since then about who I can and can't rely on.
Sooooo, busy busy busy!
